My food background starts from being a fully qualified Chef working in Exeter, Cardiff, Yeovil and Shropshire in various Hotels. From there I took up Butchery for 5 years and from 1995 have been baking award winning pies for my own Company, Premier Pastries.
Our pastry is to die for. It's my own secret recipe (please don't ask, as I won't tell!!) but I will share that it is made in an unconvential way and it tastes like a cross between short crust pastry and rough puff pasty!!
All our pies are freshly baked each day to order and so are our sauces, fillings and pastry.
Our statement for making pies is simple, use the best ingredients available. Just like the meat we use which is supplied by local family butchers F Griffiths and sons .
